Unexpected day off

Of course, being happy never lasts - Hannah came down with a fever Monday afternoon... So I did the mom-thing and stayed home with her yesterday - we almost clawed eachother's eyes out after lunch because we were so bored. So I got her well dressed and we went outside to get some fresh air (it was sunny and kind of warm outside = +8 deg C) and H decided she wanted to ride her big bike. Obviously, she'd forgotten that last time, she feared her bike like noone has ever done since Calvin last tried learning the art of riding a wild bike. She remembered after 150 metres of great pedaling and started crying because she was too scared to sit on her bike anymore...
My personal opinion is that the problem wasn't actually her bike, but all the sand and small rocks on the road that made the bike jump all around the place. Poor thing...
