No, I'm not pregnant, I've started exercising! I decided that, if not for my own sake, then for my daughter's sake I needed to strengthen my body. It's been getting harder running after her around and to the playground, especially now that she's so FAST! I don't pick her up and carry her around anymore either, because I just can't do it for long before my joints start complaining. I've been to a doctor about that, and the only thing they can do is give me pain killers...
So I try another approach - strengthening the muscles should help the stability in both hips, knees, lower back and ancles, shouldn't it? I plan on using the lunch break on tuesdays and the extra time on thursday afternoons (when hubby is home with our daughter, and I don't have to pick her up from daycare) plus working my abs at home before bedtime.
I had my first session today at lunch - it will be a tight squeeze on my lunch hour, but I will manage. I have to!
I had forgotten how much fun it is, sweating and feeling the muscles really work for their living :) So far, so good!
