Wow - comments already! I keep forgetting how fast the internet is at spreading the word across the globe...
Yes, I will be putting up more pics as I go along - I love looking at other people's pics and thoughts myself, and I don't want to be any worse! :)
Stitching thoughts: I've started stitching a stocking for Hannah, and I really HATE the floss that came with the kit! It's a Dimensions kit, which I've never stitched before, and the floss is thin, it tangles and it knots all the time. Of course the experience isn't helped by the fact that I miscounted and have had to frog a large portion of my stitching - TWICE! I've never had to frog that much before, and it's really discouraging. If it weren't for the fact that I have the entire kit, threads and all, have paid for it in my own hard-earned money, and my daughter has already seen the pic of the completed thing, this is one project I would definitely chuck out.
Here's a link to what I'm stitching: http://www.sewandso.co.uk/cgi-bin/find/db.cgi?db=zoom&do=search_results&Prod_Code=40347&ww=1 (Yes, I will eventually put up WIP pics of it, if I ever get past this point...)
Thankfully, I have some small projects on the go as well, so I can enjoy myself a little too! :)

hello, just came here to say welcome from Angela's blog...
I agree with you, Dimensions threads are not nice to stitch with. Last year I bouth a set of ornements and gave up. I gave the kit to my mom who isn't so fussy ;)
I'd be glad to see your "little things" you stitch though....
Cute stocking :)
I nearly forgot- "Hi Hannah!"(big hug)
Well you have your work cut out for you with this stocking but I have a feling you will get it done. Welcome to the blogging world.. Happy learning..
That is a nice stocking design....cute and very xmassy. :)
Hi! I am glad you decided to start a blog. I haven't gotten that brave yet!
About your Dimensions kit - I know exactly how you feel! I bought a stocking kit 6 years ago for my daughter(at that time 7). Got very frustrated and quit. I have now picked up the stocking and will keep on working. My daughter (who is 12 1/2 now) said "oh, I forgot about that!" I can't wait til you are done! So, again my motivation is my daughter! Good luck!
